Opened in June 1985, the Otto Zutz was a new concept revolutionary in the nightlife of the city of Barcelona. Occupying a former textile factory in Lincoln Street 15, its initial structure had two floors, recreating the industrial environments typical of New York based in open spaces decorated with raw materials, cement pillars, metal gratings, steel beams and vaulted ceilings. It was a real factory of fun and glamour in the middle of the city. The concept was based on the customer that "created-produced" the atmosphere. The building was the factory, music was the tool, and the customer's were the raw material. This formula created a transgressor concept that transcended traditional classic bounds of the "establishment", socially and artistic.
In 1992, the result of socio-economic boost that the Olympics brought to the city, they opened a third floor at the top, where was located The Privé called "Los Altos" space that quickly emerged as a point of reference for celebrities and "beautiful people" of Barcelona, and also international celebrities. Nowadays, the concept has evolved to get the name of Otto Zutz cross the borders and become an international reference.
In short it is a cosmopolitan and modern nightclub which is characterized by the wide variety of atmospheres and styles. It is the only club in Barcelona where you have 3 different atmospheres and 3 exclusive private areas. Have fun at your house. Zutz is your friend.
